Havaianas came to life on the 14th of June 1962 – the first brand to introduce “flip-flops” in Brazil. A patent for its industrial model was registered for the brand in 1964 under the title: “New insole model with fork.” Today, the brand is used by people from all over the world and from all walks of life.

How long will it take to receive my order?

All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Nashik, Maharashtra, and are sent to you via our courier partners. From the time of order confirmation, it may take 7-10 days for the order to reach you depending on your location.
While we strive to deliver your orders within the said time, we may encounter delays due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural calamities, civil disturbances, or similar circumstances, peak season, and holidays.
Orders placed on the weekend will usually be processed within the next business day.

Please note, when an order is placed during a promotional period, there may be a delay on the date of dispatch due to the high volume of orders received.

How do I know if my order has been processed & dispatched?

Once your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive an e-mail & SMS together with your order tracking number.
You can always know your order status by simply logging in to your account and go to “Track My Orders”. Enter your order number to check the details of the order.
Even if you carried out the order as a guest, you will be able to follow your order here.

Can I make changes to my shipping address after my order has been placed?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to make changes to your order once you’ve placed it. This includes changing size or style, delivery address, or the payment method.

Oops, on the odd occasion a mix up may occur.
If you believe you have received an incorrect item, please send details together with a photo to our Customer Service team by submitting a request.

What do i do if my product is faulty?

We pride ourselves on the quality, comfort, and style of our product. We only use premium Brazilian rubber in all our products and the magic formula hasn’t changed since the first pair rolled of the production line in 1962.
If you believe you have a faulty product, however, we can help you out. We offer a 6-month replacement warranty on all Havaianas purchased from our online store, or from any one of our authorized resellers throughout Australia. Our process to analyze faulty claims is really easy – just drop us a line via our contact form below or send us an email: [email protected] and we’ll take a look.
Unfortunately, we will not replace items that we reasonably believe to be worn or damaged through improper use.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be 100% happy with your new Havi’s!
If, for any reason you’re not happy with your online order or have ordered the wrong product and wish to return it, we’re happy to offer a refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase, provided that:

  • The item has not been worn
  • The item is returned in its original packaging with tags attached
  • A printed copy of the order invoice e-mail with details of the reason for return is supplied

How do i return an item(s) for a refund or exchange?

Returning your item is simple – just follow these easy steps!
Login to your account. Go to My Orders and there you will find the Returns tab.
Select the product/s you wish to return and select the reason for return from the drop-down menu and click submit.
Place the original item(s) (with tags attached) along with the original order confirmation email in a mail bag.
Your refund will be processed within 15-25 business days following receipt and assessment of the item(s) for return.
We recommend Registered Post and saving the tracking number as Havaianas are not accountable for missing items. Don’t forget – return mail costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds will be processed via your original method of payment.

Are havaianas quality tested?

Yes! Every pair of Havaianas undergoes strict quality control tests before leaving the factory in Brazil.


We recommend the following procedure to clean your Havaianas thongs.

  • Rinse your Havaianas in warm water
  • Brush the sole and the straps with mild soap using a soft bristle brush
  • Rinse until all the soap is removed
  • Dry with a soft cloth or leave to dry out of direct sunlight

The process above allows you to clean without damaging the product. In the case of light colours (such as white) as with any shoes, we cannot guarantee that the product will completely recover the original tone, as this will depend on the use and frequency of cleaning.
Do not wash any Havaianas products in a washing machine as it will damage the product.

Havaianas sizing is Brazilian, which is different to European sizes.

How do i find the brazilian size on my havi’s?

Havaianas are available all over the world, and as a result can often be found with multiple sizes listed on the sole.
In India, our conversions and comparisons are always made using the Brazilian size as a base. The Brazilian size will always be the most prominent on your Havaianas – we’ve circled it so you can find it!

Why do Havaianas thongs have double sizing (i.e. Two sizes listed)?

Havaianas are made from our magic Brazilian rubber formula and manufacturing process. As a result, our moulds are designed on a double sizing system and factor in a slight sizing variation from pair to pair making the product super comfortable and unique.

How do i measure my Havi’s?

Measure diagonally from the centre of heel to the big toe. We recommend measuring the underside of the sole, so your straps don’t get in the way!

Once you have the measurement (in centimetres), divide it by 6.66. This calculation will give you the true size of your thongs
